Cinnamon Truvia Pecans
I love pecans, but I them even more when they have cinnamon and sugar on them! This recipe is low carb and and sugar free because it uses Truvia a natural sweetener that doesn't have affect on your blood glucose or insulin levels. What you will need: 1 egg white 1 tbs water 1 pound of pecan halves 1 cup Truvia 1 tsp ground cinnamon 3/4 tsp salt Preheat oven to 250 degrees F In a large mixing bowl whisk egg white and water together till it is a little frothy. Add nuts into egg mixture, and stir around the pecans till they are all covered. In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients together, then pour the mixture in with with the nuts. Stir the nuts until nuts are coated in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Spray a pan lightly with coconut oil and spread out the nuts. Bake in the oven for 1 hour, stir the nuts every 15 minutes.
