I bought some large canvases that I intended to paint amazing abstract art. After 3+ years of having them sit in my closet I decided I needed to do something that would take less time. So I marched off to Jo-Ann Fabric and picked out a few interesting patterns and bought a staple gun. Once I was home I spread the fabric out on the floor, cut it to 1.5" larger than the canvas on each side so it would wrap around nicely without pulling or stretching out of shape. Then I went to town and stapled the edges and folded the corners like wrapping a present (aka hospital corners).
I love pecans, but I them even more when they have cinnamon and sugar on them! This recipe is low carb and and sugar free because it uses Truvia a natural sweetener that doesn't have affect on your blood glucose or insulin levels. What you will need: 1 egg white 1 tbs water 1 pound of pecan halves 1 cup Truvia 1 tsp ground cinnamon 3/4 tsp salt Preheat oven to 250 degrees F In a large mixing bowl whisk egg white and water together till it is a little frothy. Add nuts into egg mixture, and stir around the pecans till they are all covered. In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients together, then pour the mixture in with with the nuts. Stir the nuts until nuts are coated in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Spray a pan lightly with coconut oil and spread out the nuts. Bake in the oven for 1 hour, stir the nuts every 15 minutes. Let cool, and enjoy! These are a great sweet treat you don't have to feel guilty a...
I have been so excited for this trip to Peddler's Son Produce all week! One of our friends who also trains with my man, owns a produce distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. He invited us to come check it out sometime, and we jumped at the opportunity. So here we are Saturday morning! The warehouse was huge, and full of color, a photographers dream! Not only do they supply high end grocery stores like AJ's, but they also supply many of the restaurants in the area. They are also looking to expand within the year to a warehouse that is 3 times the size of the current one. Ready for the tour!!!!!! When the bananas get over ripened they are sold at discount to smoothie venders where an over ripe banana is just what they need. I love pineapple, yep I took one of these home with me! They had one cooler just for mushrooms... I didn't realize there were so many different kinds, shapes and names, and not to mention some of t...
